Carly Woods

 

  As she is known by her players,  "Coach Carly" is the assistant director of BVC.  She is married to BVC

  director Lance Woods, they have run the club together for the past 5 years.  Carly is from Birmingham,

  and played high school volleyball at Shades Valley.  She went on to play at South Florida Community

  College and Georgia Southwestern State University as an outside hitter.  She accumulated 3 all

  conference honors, and 2 all region honors during her collegiate career.  She still holds 2 records at

  SFCC (single match digs, single season digs).  Carly has coached club volleyball for 6 years and has

  been involved with several different high school programs in the area such as: Oak Mtn. HS, Pelham

  HS, Mtn. Brook HS, and currently Chelsea HS.
